Gulf Consult in association with NBBJ were commissioned by the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital (KAACH) for the Design and Construction Supervision of the Bayt Abdullah Hospice for Children.
The hospice is located in Sulaibikhat opposite the Ministry of Health Headquarters along Jamal Abdul Nasser Street. Bayt Abdullah will be the first Children’s Hospice in the Middle East.
The facility will embrace all the elements of paediatric palliative care, which not only includes the medical needs, but also the psychological, emotional and spiritual needs. Therefore, the facility includes an extensive program:
