ACK Engineering students paid a visit to the SAAF

A group of second year ACK Engineering students paid a visit to the SAAF site on Saturday, the 13th of November. The visit was conducted to enrich the students’ current unit, ‘Civil Engineering Materials,’ which covers materials, material properties, and sustainability.

Accompanied by engineers Mohamed Tawfeq and Rodhab Bu Khalil, the students explored materials used over the course of construction on the SAAF site, including steel, concrete, ceramic, and tiles. The site visit offered students the opportunity to engage with available materials and observe them in use. Through our continued commitment to supporting education and local universities, we are proud to offer these educational experiences and look forward to welcoming more students in the future.
