Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice wins in IIDA’s Healthcare Interior Design Competition

August 2012, U.S.A – The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) announced the winners of the inaugural Healthcare Interior Design Competition, an international Interior Design competition honoring and celebrating outstanding originality and excellence in the planning and design of healthcare interior spaces. The winners of the competition were selected from over 100 submissions from around the globe by an expert panel of interior design professionals, who specialize in healthcare interiors.

Winners were announced in four categories that included Ambulatory Care Centers, Hospice Care, Hospitals, and Senior Living & Residential Health, Care, and Support Facilities. The Best of Competition was selected from the Best of Category winners. Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice won Best of Category for Hospice Care and Best of Competition. This buildings and landscaping were designed and supervised by Gulf Consult, while the Interior Design was undertaken by NBBJ.
