Although the building is part of Kuwait University, it is situated in Fintas, 40km away from the main university campus at Khalidiya. The building consists of four floors and is divided into two wings, linked together by a central lobby area.

One of the wings incorporates classrooms and laboratories; the other wing is mainly for administrative purposes.
