This award winning new maternity hospital is strategically located along Belajat Street in Salmiya. It takes advantage of the magnificent sea views and is of prominence along this major road.

The hospital is designed to provide a high quality service, combining excellence in health care with the luxury of a five star hotel and this was recognised in 2011 when Al Seef Hospital was awarded “Best Physical Environment” at the Hospital Build Middle East Exhibition and Congress in Dubai.

The Architectural theme of the hospital is: “The birth of a child” and  the forms, materials and detailing of the hospital structure  have been designed in response to this theme.

The on-site multi-storey carpark is independent of the hospital but is physically connected at two levels, through a tunnel connection below grade and at the second level via a bridge.

Lead architectural design work was carried out by Langdon Wilson International of USA, with support architectural work and all engineering design undertaken by Gulf Consult.
