The beach front promenade extends from Al Kout Mall and passes in front of the marina and public beach. Avenue planting of Date Palms defines the promenade edge and provides dappled shade on the pathway.
The promenade is accented with cafes, seating pavilions and grassed picnic areas to provide respite and passive recreational opportunities, whilst the linear quality of the promenade encourages active recreation for walkers, joggers and cyclists alike.
The promenade has become a popular destination for tourists and locals due to the range of activities it offers, as well as the provision of access to the beach and waterfront.
The planting palette of the promenade has been carefully selected to conserve water and achieve a sustainable landscape.
