Gulf Consult in association with Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), has been appointed by the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) Sanitary Engineering Sector to undertake the Study, Design and Preparation of the Tender Documents for the Kuwait Sewerage Improvement Phase XV for the Al-Andalus, Gernata and Sabah Al-Nasser areas in Kuwait.

The Phase XV Project is divided into two contracts:

  • Al-Andalus Area including the Study and Upgrade of the existing 56 km Sanitary Network with 2,057 manholes; 42 km of Stormwater Network; 51 km of Roads; Telecoms and Streetlighting Network
  • Gernata and Sabah Al-Nasser Areas including the Study and Upgrade of the existing 41 km of Sanitary Network with 1,191 manholes; 35 km of Stormwater Network; 60 km of Roads; and Telecoms and Streetlighting Network

The infrastructure designs are to be prepared to meet the present and planned development within the project area up to the year 2047.
