This specialist paediatric hospital provides treatment for children up to twelve years, in leukaemia, haematology and developmental paediatrics. The 87 patient-bed facility complements the  existing  paediatric  hospital, to which it is physically linked.

The accommodation includes:

  • Leukaemia and haematology wards, with a total of 35 private patient rooms as well as a number of 6-bed wards.
  • Haematology and leukaemia investigation laboratories.
  • A development paediatric unit for specialist counselling and therapy.
  • Operation theatres and facilities for minor surgery.
  • Outpatient consulting units.

One of the hospital’s many interesting features is the decor, which aims to provide an environment in which children feel secure and at ease with their surroundings. The decorations in corridors, waiting areas and children’s play areas are enhanced by the use of patterned tiles and drawings.

Concept planning and design carried out in association with TAC International, Boston.
