The concept finally chosen was of a maternity hospital providing 5 star medical services in a 5 star hotel standard of accommodation. This new hospital comprising six floors and two basements will provide services in the following fields:
- Maternity, Newborn and Paediatrics, comprising 12 delivery rooms and 48 beds, housed in rooms varying from Standard to Royal Suite, together with Special Care and Paediatric beds
- Reproductive Endocrinology, offering out-patient gynaecological and urology care, as well as an IVF clinic
- Women’s wellness, providing fitness, relaxation and skin care for pregnant women and new mothers
Gulf Consult provided a full design and construction supervision service, with medical planning and architectural concept development by NBBJ of USA.
