Gulf Consult in association with Harradine Golf of Dubai, designed and supervised the construction of the first 18 hole grass golf course in Kuwait. It was implemented as a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) project on behalf of the Sahara Golf Company.

The Golf Course is 6,730 yards long and is a par 70 PGA standard competition course. It features 12 holes within the existing Hunting Club race track and 6 holes outside.

The project involved moving 790,000 m3 of soil from within the race track to the areas outside, so as to create a challenging contoured course incorporating three lakes and the planting of over 5,000 trees.

Floodlit holes allow players to golf at night, avoiding the summer’s heat. The fully equipped driving range, with a shape similar to fairways, completes Kuwait’s ultimate golfing  experience.

The Golf Course also includes many additional amenities such as:

  • Club House with Pro Shop, Health Club, Spa and Restaurants
  • Driving Range
  • Golf  Academy
  • 14 standard and 7 VIP Chalets
  • Parking for 200 cars
