After the partial destruction of the Sief Palace during the Iraqi invasion, Gulf Consult carried out the design and supervision work for the restoration and renovation of the damaged historical buildings, including the totally burnt out Ceremonial Hall with its famous Clock Tower.

In addition to undertaking damage assessment, structural repair and restoration work of the Ceremonial Hall and its associated buildings, Gulf Consult undertook the complete redesign of the mechanical and electrical systems for all restored buildings, together with the design of new central plant and water storage facilities.
